Oura is moving from sleep scores toward health monitoring and lab context
Health Radar rolls out through July, while lab-result uploads place blood biomarkers beside ring data.

The answer first
Oura’s 2026 software release adds Health Radar, live activity tracking, PDF lab uploads, GLP-1 insights and more granular data deletion to Ring Gen3 and newer devices.
Why it matters
Wearables are becoming containers for more sensitive and more clinically adjacent information. The product question is shifting from measurement accuracy alone to interpretation, privacy and escalation.
What is being added
Health Radar is designed to monitor cardiovascular and respiratory patterns in the background. Oura says it will surface blood-pressure signals and a 30-day view of night-time breathing. Lab Uploads allow members to place PDF blood results alongside wearable metrics.
The release also includes live workout tracking, GLP-1-related insights, device location and the ability to delete data from a selected time period without deleting an account.
The new privacy and interpretation questions
A ring that stores sleep and movement data is already sensitive. Adding laboratory results and AI-enabled health interpretation increases the consequences of account compromise, unclear retention or overconfident guidance.
The useful evaluation should therefore include privacy controls, country availability, intended use, validation and what happens when the system detects a pattern worth escalating—not only how many features appear in the app.
Availability and performance claims come from Oura. Anecdotal has not independently validated the features.
